Informing contexts-Week 9 Peer review

Week 9 Peer Review Presentations

Password: Falmouth

This week we turned in a 10 min video presentation that critically reflects and contextualises our current practice. We then had to review and provide written feed back to other videos submitted. I received some brilliant feedback from my peers that I will certainly take on board.

Andrew: Liked the more artistic shots and questioned can I not do both a record and aesthetically pleasing- I agree there is certainly a fine line between both and I will explore that in the next module.

Paul: Suggested the photographer Marc Wilson The Last Stand-I had a brief look at his work online and ordered the book, it has arrives and looks like real inspiration and can’t wait to read over it.

Sarah: Made me critically aware of the hunter/farmer analogy that we covered at the start of the module, suggested if possible to capture any details original to the area- I will certainly use the hunter/farmer in my critical review as it adds context to my journey so far, close of details is a good idea and do enjoy hunting down those elements but at this time need to concentrate on the buildings.

Jo: Pointed out photographer Donovan Wylie and his body of work The Maze, also said how our researched over lapped- I already have his book and I watched Jo’s presentation and it was really inspiring and our research does indeed overlap.
